How Rotation Works
Every month, a new rotation of 8 sets is randomly selected to form the Chaos Standard card pool. No set is ever banned — the only restriction is what gets randomly chosen.
Set Structure
Each rotation contains exactly 8 sets:
- 1 Core Set (large) — counts as both core slots. Large core sets:
FDN,7ED,8ED,9ED - OR 1 mid core (300+ cards) + 1 small core (<300 cards)
- 2 Large Expansions — sets with 275+ cards
- 4 Small Expansions — split across tiers:
- 2 Tiny (<175 cards)
- 1 Medium (175–224 cards)
- 1 Big (225–274 cards)
Rules
- 60-card constructed decks
- 4-of limit (except basic lands)
- No banlist
- Non-digital sets only with 100+ cards
- Only already-released sets are eligible
